Agree with that mate.

I'll take a draw up there if offered.
with the games coming thick and fast.

Patience is key...don't get caught up in the we 'must win' the next game attitude.

Some idiots on here don't rate Moyes based on the Watford and Everton games...
Clueless cunts

Which country do you live in?

Yes Jaan but it was Arnie and Chico who had the chances as my post said.

I've criticised him before now but for me, it wasn't Adrian the MOM. It was Ogbonna.

Moyes really seems to have shoved a rocket up his arse because he's defending well and not ball watching like he used to. Long may it continue

"We had NO goal threat at all bar Anoutovic and Chico when he came on"

You mean - We had no threat bar the times we did threaten, that were better chances than Arsenal had with all their possession?

Any more pearls of wisdom, 13?

Leicester won the league playing pacey counter attacking football.

Bteath of fresh air not having balls hoofed up to Carroll but don't think it helps Antonio playing at CF. We had NO goal threat at all bar Anoutovic and Chico when he came on.Also no pace upfront which you need if we are going to play this way often. Be interesting to see the set up and personal next winnable home game?
January we need to try and offload Sakho & Carrol and buy a pacey strong CF to play the role Antonio is playing.

Antonio has had a rib injury. You can't train properly with a rib injury (I can't explain to you how much a minor rib injury hurts if you haven't had one, but you clearly haven't played enough football if you haven't - and Antonio's wasn't just a minor one).

So, even if the others have been training properly under Moyes, I doubt Antonio has. He's probably only now doing that.

And, in the last two matches, he has played the most energetic role in the side.

Spot on sixty

Don't change a successful formula, we've had a couple of good performances using this style let's keep it fo the away game.

I dont think we have to change anything or our attitude against Stoke etc... They have to get a win as well and I think a counter attacking game is suiting us. Teams like Stoke are going to make more mistakes that arsenal, Chelsea and Man City did so it will just make our counter attacks more potent.
We just need to play exactly the same way, 1 nil is fine by me.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Arsenal - The Official Match Thread
Surely Antonio would be left out if he was deemed unfit? Or started on the bench at least?

Maybe he's found himself at odds with the new regime over his fitness (and possibly his attitude to being challenged on it). Couple this with the fact he doesn't really have a natural starting position in the side now (what with Arfa and Arnie ticking and buzzing) and you could easily get one unhappy bunny.

The Clay heads are on their chinstraps.

A few tweeks up top and we can and will beat them comfortably.

Big test for us though..will answer a lot of questions this game

Two goals conceded against City, Chelsea and the Arse. And four points for our troubles. Nope, certainly didn’t see that coming.

Ogbonna and Obiang have really turned their performances around. Thought Lanzini had a poor game but against Stoke I think he could cause problems. Antonio needs a rest as was also poor. Imagine Hernandez put that chance away! We can dreAm!

Get Wilshere in January and we will be fine! A big step up on Noble who also fought hard today.

Jaan Kenbrovin 12:41 Thu Dec 14
Re: ⚽ West Ham v Arsenal - The Official Match Thread
I think Antonio needs to lay off the weights. Clearly carrying too much muscle.

Also, as much as I respect Noble as a top pro, born and bred as West Ham, he would be the first position I'd look to improve on. Shame we didn't go for Wilshere in the summer, as he looked good tonight.

Okay, gph, I'll bite: C&P, just for you, yeah?

**You heard what Moyes said about it after the game; simply put, he doesn't expect a player to be too fucked to run around after 65 minutes, and even if he is, the MANAGER makes the calls, full stop.**

**Moyes wouldn't be on his case like this if it was a simple "coming back from injury" issue.**

Exactly that. He shouldn't BE out of steam after 65 minutes. This is two games in a row now he has effectively trodden over the gaffer's lines in public. For whatever reason, he doesn't appear to have his head right. Gone in January if he doesn't buck his fucking ideas up.

Antonio still does not look fit and appears he needs to lose a few pounds.
Sure he will come good in the not too distant and be the player we had.
